What industries do you serve?

We serve a broad range of industries from Maritime to Fluid Power to Petrochemical to Automotive and the list continues to grow.

Do you offer Material Test Reports?

Yes we do, upon request and free of charge. To speed the process, please be sure to ask a Sales Representative at the time of inquiry that you would require one.

Do you offer Class Certification or Class Approval on your products?

Yes we do. Many of our products are Class Certified or have a type class approval. In the cases where they are not, we can have the appropriate test completed for you. Ask your Sales Representative for more information.

Can you ship overseas?

Yes. We regularly ship internationally from our four stocking locations and through our vast international supply network.

Do you have any locations outside the US?

No. However, through our network of manufacturers and suppliers, we are able to export around the world.

How do I place an inquiry or order with World Wide Metric

You can email, fax or call us directly and ask to speak to our sales department. They will be more than happy to assist you.

Do you only offer Metric products?

Although we are best-known for supplying metric products, we do offer an equally broad range of international standards including: ANSI, SAE, and BS. We’re not just metric anymore.

Do you offer conversion items?

Yes we do. Whether you are converting from Metric to Inches, DIN to SAE, or the countless other combinations that exist, we can most likely help you directly from our stock of conversion adaptors or find them for you.

How can I apply for employment with World Wide Metric?

Visit the Careers section on our website and submit your resume directly to our HR department. We are always looking for great talent.

Can I get a hard copy of your product catalog or can I download a PDF?

You can do both. Go to Catalogs to download product catalogs or order catalog to receive a hard copy of our product catalog.

What are your hours of operation?

Our hours are 8am-5pm EST, 8am-5pm CST and 8am-5pm PST.

How late in the day can you ship orders?

Typically, we ship all orders the same day. Depending on the type of freight service requested and product availability we will always try to expedite your shipment no matter the time. Because all of our locations stock a vast amount of product, we can ship orders from the west coast until 5 pm PST/ 8 pm EST and the Gulf until 5 pm CST /6 pm EST. What can be done today, will be done today.

How do I set up an account?

Please download and complete our Account Profile document and email it back to us along with your Tax Exempt Certificate to sales@worldwidemetric.com.

How large is your inventory?

World Wide Metric proudly maintains over 50,000 items in stock in 4 US locations available for same day.

Can you supply items not presently listed on your website or in your catalogs?

Yes we can. In addition to the 50,000 items we stock, we have a network of manufacturers and suppliers around the world. That, in effect, more than doubles the capacity of items in our range. Whether you’re looking for a specific brand or one of those hard to find items, give us a shot…perhaps we can help.

When will my invoice be sent to me? Can you send it by email?

Typically, invoices are sent out within 24 hours of shipping. Invoices can be mailed, faxed or sent by email, whichever method you prefer. Please specify when setting up your account with your sales person or speak directly with our accounting department.
